Terrie Johnson began her developmental intervention journey as a play based provider in the Atlanta metro area while completing her undergrad in Psychology at Georgia State University. After graduation in 2009, she worked as a para in a local highschool's Autism unit, an inclusion specialist at the Adaptive Learning Center, and a DIR/ Floortime Provider throughout metro Atlanta. While pursuing her Masters in Counseling at Capella University, she and her hubby were inspired to move to Colorful Colorado. While working with a very talented BCBA, she was naturally redirected into the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. Over the next four years, Terrie completed her Masters in Psychology and ABA while gaining her ABA experience hours at The Joshua School, and with families all over the Denver metro. She officially became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2016! Since then, she has been fulfilling her passion for parent training and developmental intervention using play and communication based intervention. She is currently contracted with Park County RE-2 School District and Mt. Evans BOCES as their onsite Behavioral Analyst. She loves Colorado's diverse weather, topography, and getting out into its nature with her family of 4!
